As a 24-year veteran of the U.S. Army, John brings a disciplined work ethic to his career at Clarke’s. He’s been a fixture at the store for the last decade and our TV star; always friendly and accessible, he knows exactly what is in the store and where it can be found and he never hesitates to ask if you need help.“I always know it can be done because of the vast array of resources we have on tap.”

Penny is the sweat-heart of our cashier team.  A longtime employee, she always listens to your wants and needs, offers comfort and assurance, and never lets you leave with any dissatisfaction.  That’s our Penny…got a good recipe?

Terry lives by his credo: “Just happy to be here” and he is. Always ready to offer assistance and advice, Terry is a friendly and knowledgeable member of our sales team.  When he is not at work- gone fishin!

Kelly’s smile and greeting is the first thing you see and hear when you enter our front door.  Part of our cashier team, she is ready and able to direct your needs to our sales staff.  Kelly has a background in horticulture.  Spring is her thing, so gardening questions are readily sent her way!

Bruce is our work-work-work man.  Give him a task or project and watch out!  His practical work ethic and common sense approach with our customers makes it so easy for them to understand any instruction or directions that he has to offer.  Go to Bruce to get it done!

Our dog and animal lover, Jen is another smile that greets you with great enthusiasm at the front door.  She will provide a quick, courteous point of sale experience to get you on your way each and every time that you come to us!

John is a long-time resident of the area and has a huge sense of humor.  You will hear his laugh in every area of the store.  He loves to chat about is passion of boating, but is very helpful to get you prepared for any project that is on your to-do list.  Listen for John…the laugh will lead you.
